How To Change Search Engine In Microsoft EDGE :
Microsoft Edge being a Microsoft product also uses Bing as a default search engine. For changing the search provider on Edge you may follow the following steps after opening Microsoft Edge -
Step 1: Visit the search page of a search engine you would like to use. For example, if you would like to use Google as a default search engine, visit www.google.co.in or if you would like to keep DuckDuckGo as you default search engine, visit www.duckduckgo.com. In the illustration that I am about to present I would make Yahoo search as the default search engine. But please note that you may do the same thing to any search engine, be it Yahoo, Google, DuckDuckGo etc.
Step 2: After opening the page, restart the browser and then click on the three dots that you may see in the upper right corner. This will open the options of the Microsoft Edge.
Step 3: After clicking on three dots click on Settings which is present at the bottom of the list. This will open a list of setting as given in the picture below.
Step 4: In settings menu, after scrolling down a bit you will see a button called �View Advance Settings�. For changing browser click on �View Advanced Settings�. This will take you to the menu where you may change your browser�s default search engine.
Step 5: Now you can see the option of �Search in the address bar with�. Use that option. Click on Bing (it is the default search engine).
Step 6: Below Bing, you can see the other added search engines (in this picture you can see Google as an added search engine because I had added Google before). If you want to add any search engine click on �� tab. After this click you will be directed to the list of pages of search engines that you have visited which includes the search engines you visited in Step 1.
Step 7: Click on the search engine that you would like to make your default and then click on �Add as default� and then the search engine is used as default in your browser. Visiting the search engine is necessary to add the page to the list.
